My Weight Loss Journey - 90 lbs. Lost And Counting

I have been on a journey to improve my health for a little over a year now. In January of 2008 I was told that I was diabetic, I was already on multiple medications for high cholesterol and blood pressure, and I weighed 275 lbs. at 5' 10". Not a good combination for a guy who had carotid artery surgery and bypass to my left arm at the age of 37 (now 47).

I finally got off my butt and decided to do something about it and you can too. I lost a lot of weight and worked on getting myself healthy again and I didn't really do anything special to do it. The secret isn't found in any bottle of pills, weight loss fad, or magic diet. It's found in you! The secret is in you and has always been in you.

You can read about my whole weight loss journey on my blog at www.onepoundago.com/blog/ and learn the secret for yourself. I promise that if you choose to do so, it will cost you nothing except being over weight and ill. I'm not saying that other methods don't work because they do but I am saying that using the one pound weight loss method I used and developed worked for me.

Just start at the beginning of my blog and you'll follow on my journey through about 9 months of the last year and discover the the secret to a healthier and happier new you today. I'm living proof and in fact I'm ready to go on my morning run as soon as I finish this post, which I couldn't even think about doing just over a year ago. Now I run 3 -4 miles a day and I am looking forward to trying a 10K this spring.

To the left you see where I was a few years ago and I was even heavier this time last year.
