I've been hearing rumors all week about PayPerPost and their methods of putting ads on blogs not being totally on the up and up. Rumor has it that the money they are using to pay their bloggers is coming from hidden and secret local gambling activities run by the the upper management at PayPerPost, and that they are using this new advertising method of coercing people to put ads on blogs for money to launder the cash before dispersing it back into the till. I have also heard that they are using their advertisers funds to hold illegal boxing matches in their basement, all the while bloggers continue to faithfully blog their hearts out thinking that they will be paid about a month later for their hard earned efforts. The latest of the rumors is that Tom Cruise is providing the money for backing PayPerPost in the hopes that now that he is no longer able to make movies because his contract wasn't renewed, that he can be in a commercial for PayPerPost to help support his new wife and child. I can't wait to see that commercial! What do you think? I am getting paid to place ads on blogs, or am I?
