I recently looked at this site which offers a cheap pos option for cashier software. What is POS? I had to ask the same thing as I had never heard the term before, and it's "point of sale" software.
The software at first glance appears to be on the basic side, in fact it reminds me of a DOS based application, but after reviewing the features, it seems to provide all the necessary tools for your small business applications and can grow with you as your business grows. It tracks all your sales and customers and much more. It can take sales via barcode or manual entry.
You can pay for more elaborate software design, but isn't functionality the most important thing these days? It appears that D-POS might be what you need for a very affordable price.
